Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Medical Center. The role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment at our Murray, Utah campus.

You will scrub and circulate procedures, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and operate specialized imaging equipment while maintaining high standards of safety and care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Angio/Interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification.
• ARRT and BLS required at hire; ACLS within 120 days (non-pediatric hospitals); PALS within 120 days for pediatric hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, stent placement, thrombectomy, embolization, atherectomy, and ablation procedures.
• Independently scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate interventional radiology equipment and imaging systems to produce high-quality images and support successful procedural outcomes.
• Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, and procedural techniques in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new caregivers as needed and participate in the department's call rotation to support emergent patient care needs.
