Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to support physicians during procedures. You will prepare the patient and room, set up trays with interventional equipment, and maintain sterile technique while assisting with fluoroscopy to visualize blood vessels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree desirable and bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with interventional procedures and materials management.
• BLS certification and knowledge of sterile techniques are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies.
• Set up/stock procedure rooms with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Assist physician during interventional procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Operate fluoroscopy to visualize vessels and assist with intervention.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate patient billing and coding.
