Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care’s Azura outpatient vascular centers are seeking an experienced professional to support interventional radiology procedures. You will prepare procedure rooms, assist physicians with fluoroscopy, manage patient positioning and transfers, and ensure sterile technique throughout.

This role emphasizes high-quality patient care and strict adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations).
• Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and procedure room for radiology procedures per policies and regulations.
• Reviews orders to determine needed materials and supplies.
• Sets up and stocks procedure room and trays; cleans room post-procedure.
• Explains procedures to patient and addresses questions/concerns.
• Assists with patient prep and positioning; handles transfers.
• Acts as scrub assistant and uses fluoroscopy to aid physician.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Draws and labels intravenous medications as required.
• Processes x-ray images and archives records per policy.
• Supports CQI efforts and assists with quality goals and audits.

Education

High School Diploma

Associate’s Degree desirable

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
