Job summary

Role includes diagnostic and interventional imaging, sterile technique, and patient education. Requires ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program, 1 year IR experience (2 years preferred), and CA CRT licensing/permits; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Radiologic Technology program approved by the ARRT.
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiography experience; 2 years preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
• CA CRT license and related fluoroscopy permits required.
• ARRT certification preferred for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and vascular/non-vascular interventional procedures, fluoroscopy, and general radiography.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures; prepare sterile supplies and medications, load devices, and maintain the sterile field.
• Perform advanced 3D image reconstruction and PACS/RIS quality control.
• Perform venipunctures, draw specimens, coordinate contrast, and maintain required proficiencies.
• Review patient records and questionnaires for contraindications; ensure patient comfort and safety; provide procedure education.
