Job summary

Duke Health's Duke Raleigh Hospital seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. You will operate fluoroscopic equipment, position patients, and assist radiologists throughout procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with anesthesia, pediatrics, and radiology, managing inventory, and training new technologists while maintaining accurate documentation and charging

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in radiography.
• ARRT certification in vascular interventional technology must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to perform angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Position patients and immobilize as necessary.
• Assist radiologist during angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Scrub to assist with catheter passage and instrument handling.
• Load contrast media and monitor equipment readings.
• Maintain patient records and scheduling within the neuro/vascular radiographic suites.
