Job summary

Baystate Health’s Radiology Department seeks a skilled radiologic technologist to operate diagnostic X-ray equipment and obtain high-quality images under Radiologist supervision. Duties include fluoroscopy, invasive exams, portable imaging across NICU, OR, ICU, ER, and outpatient settings, plus support for surgical procedures.

The role requires MA RT license and ARRT Registry, strong communication, and proficiency with CR/DR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA RT license and ARRT Registry.
• Able to perform routine and specialized imaging with safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic films.
• Perform fluoroscopy and invasive exams under radiologist supervision.
• Provide portable imaging in NICU, Pedi, OR, ICU and ER as required.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow safety standards.
• Maintain equipment, QC checks, and clean, stocked imaging rooms.
