Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Per Diem Cardiovascular Technologist to support the cardiovascular lab under the guidance of a physician. You will scrub procedures or monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data and help ensure the procedure room is prepared and stocked for each case.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARRT-R and licensed as required by State;
• VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist preferred
• Licensure and Fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
