Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography and related studies, while adhering to protocols and ensuring patient safety across age groups.

You will maintain post-processing, participate in education, follow radiation safety policies, and provide patient education. ARRT certification and BLS are required; VI or CI certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing functions and maintains patient care records.
• Adheres to protocols, adjusting for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Positions patients, selects protocols, and operates imaging equipment accurately.
• Maintains radiation safety and provides patient education per standards.
