Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist Radiologists during IR procedures and ensure patient care continuity. You will monitor patient status, inject contrast as policy dictates and educate patients about their exams.

The role requires ARRT certification and at least 1 year of staff technologist experience, IR experience preferred, and you will be part of an expert radiology team on site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ARRT program.
• ARRT registered.
• Minimum of 1-year staff technologist experience; interventional radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain continuity of care for patients in IR.
• Communicate clinical observations to Radiologist during procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of Medical Records before sending to PACS.
• Educate patients about examinations and procedures.
