Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA seeks a Radiology Special Procedures (RSP) Technologist II to manage and coordinate patient care in the Radiology area, performing Special Procedure exams with the care team for inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients across all ages.

The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, and IR interventional radiology experience. A high school diploma is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT radiologic technologist certification active.
• Must be registered in radiology by ARRT with CE.
• CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• 1+ years Interventional Radiology experience in acute care setting or graduate of IR technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform Special Procedure exams in Radiology.
• Collaborate with medical staff and care team to coordinate patient care.
• Provide age-appropriate care from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Meet attendance and communication requirements.
