Job summary

The Radiology Technologist II at MUHA performs routine diagnostic radiographs and assists with minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, active ARRT registration, SC licensure, and current BLS; ACLS preferred. This is an on-site, full-time position in South Carolina with hourly pay and a department cost center CC005786.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine diagnostic radiographs.
• Performs minor interventional procedures under supervision.
• Adheres to radiology safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with radiologists and fluoroscopic supervisors.
