Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for the South Suburban Hospital in Illinois. You will operate advanced imaging equipment during inpatients and outpatients procedures and support physicians as a scrub assistant.

The role requires radiologic technologist certification, ARRT registration, and BLS/ACLS within 6 months. Day shift with after-hours on-call, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience typical.
• Knowledge of vascular/cerebral procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate angiographic and ultrasound equipment for procedures.
• Assist with interventional and surgical procedures as scrub assistant.
• Monitor patients and respond to life-threatening changes.
• Identify, post-process, and label imaging with patient data.
• Maintain regulatory records and assign billing codes.
