Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, position patients, select protocols, and ensure quality imaging for all age groups in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires ARRT registration, BLS, AMA/JRCERT education, and a commitment to radiation safety. Work schedule is 4 10's, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; BLS certification.
Advance ARRT certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
Completes post-processing functions; maintains records and ensures adherence to age-specific imaging protocols.
Adheres to radiation safety policies and provides patient education according to standards.
Positions patients and operates imaging equipment for radiologic exams across all age groups.
