Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiographer to join our radiology team. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography and myelography, ensuring post-processing and documentation are completed, and following age-specific imaging protocols.

Success requires ARRT registration with radiography and BLS certification; VI/CI specialty certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Maintains competencies across related components and equipment.
• Provides patient education and communications per standards.
• Position, protocol selection and equipment use for radiologic exams across age groups.
