Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients across all ages. You will ensure quality imaging, follow established protocols, and participate in patient education and safety practices.

The role requires ARRT registration and BLS certification, with ARRT VI/CI certification preferred. Schedule includes 4 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, in a supportive radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BLS Certified.
• Advanced ARRT Certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures across age groups per established protocols.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Ensures adherence to radiation safety policies and dose reduction practices.
• Positions patients and selects correct protocol and equipment.
• Provides patient education and clear communication during procedures.
