Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to operate in the Interventional Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional imaging under physician supervision. The role includes scrub and circulating duties, image reconstruction, and patient preparation and recovery.

Candidates should have at least one year of Interventional Lab experience, anatomy knowledge, and be a graduate of an accredited radiology program with ARRT/BLS credentials.

The Interventional Radiology Technologist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards

• The Interventional Lab Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing digital imaging.

Responsibilities

• Under general physician supervision, functions in scrub and circulating roles.
• Performs image reconstruction/processing.
• Assists with Interventional Lab patient preparation, transportation, and recovery as necessary.
• Provides call coverage as scheduled.
