Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures using digital imaging. The role includes scrub and circulating duties under physician supervision, image reconstruction, and patient prep and recovery support.

The position requires a year of Interventional Lab or Critical Care experience, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and graduation from an accredited radiology school (RT(R)).

Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards

• The Interventional Lab Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing digital imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Under general physician supervision, functions in scrub and circulating roles.
• Performs image reconstruction/processing.
• Assists with Interventional Lab patient preparation, transportation, and recovery as necessary.
• Provides call coverage as scheduled.
