Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Radiology Technologist for the CDH Cath Lab on a full-time daytime schedule. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available, paid in installments, with a competitive benefits package and tuition assistance.

The role emphasizes patient safety, interventional procedures, and adherence to ethics and compliance standards. Ideal candidates will have ARRT certification, IEMA licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, and at least one year in a similar interventional lab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences.
• ARRT Certification.
• IEMA Licensure.
• BLS through American Heart Association.
• ACLS through American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar interventional lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional procedure setup, patient prep and support during procedures.
• Operates imaging systems and adheres to radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
• Pre-procedure assessment of patient data and communication with patient and family.
• Maintains sterile technique and assists with room turnover and equipment management.
• Coordinates scheduling and post-procedural documentation in the patient record.
