Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for the Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. This Registry/Per Diem position supports Radiology with assignment-based scheduling and PTO coverage.

The role involves performing prescribed radiographic procedures, ensuring image quality, patient education, and adherence to safety policies. Requires ARRT certification and state licensure where applicable; 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures following orders.
• Educates patients/families about procedures.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation.
• Uses and maintains equipment safely and follows radiation safety policies.
• Maintains workflow and inventory to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Ensures confidentiality and professional responsibilities in radiology.
• Operates within policies for invasive/interventional procedures when applicable.
• Engages with interdisciplinary health care team to support patient care.
