Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic procedures in Mesa/AZ facilities. You will ensure high-quality imaging, adhere to safety protocols, and support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include educating patients about procedures, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to deliver optimal imaging services. A valid radiology certificate and ARRT certification are required, with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must have effective communication, human relations, data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures per department policies and procedures.
• Educate patients/families about procedures and risks.
• Produce high-quality images with proper documentation.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and report issues to maintain performance.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with ethical/legal radiology standards.
• Support department workflow and manage supplies to prevent service interruptions.
• Coordinate with imaging and nursing staff for optimal patient care.
