Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, part of Radiology Partners, is seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to support interventional procedures and patient care across CT and fluoroscopy suites.

You will assist Interventional Radiologists, adhere to radiation safety standards, and ensure images and documentation are accurately transmitted to PACS. A strong RIS background and sterile technique are required.

Qualifications

• Education – Graduate of AMA Council of Education radiologic technology program.
• ARRT Certification; MRT Certification by the State Medical Board; CPR, AED, and BLS certifications.
• Three+ years’ experience in routine and interventional procedures; experience with radiology information systems.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and special procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional procedures and assist Interventional Radiologists.
• Follow Department Procedure Manual and ensure radiation protection standards.
• Provide patient care and assess conditions essential for successful IR procedures.
• Verify PACS transmission of images, notes, and required documents.
