Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology or must obtain licensure within six months of employment.
• ARRT-R certification or obtain certification within three months of employment.
• Official transcript from accredited school or registrar’s office confirming program completion accepted upon graduation.
• Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography in angiography, interventional, and digital subtraction angiography procedures.
• Maintain timely, proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts.
• Maintain accountability for patient throughout the angiographic area.
• Provide on-call coverage for Interventional Radiology.
• Document exams and procedures in RIS/PACS and patient charts.
• Clean, restock and prepare rooms daily.
• Attend hospital and departmental meetings and trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Transport medications to procedures and assist physicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
