Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. This per diem position supports radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, aiming for diagnostic-quality films while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

You will perform radiography in assigned areas, document exams in RIS/PACS, prepare and restock rooms, and participate in meetings and training. On-call coverage is required for the Diagnostic Radiology section.

Qualifications

• Two-year college certificate or equivalent NYS license in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Certification within 1 year of hire required.
• Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas.
• Maintains accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts.
• Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures using RIS/PACS and inpatient charts.
• Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms daily.
• Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
• Provides excellent customer service behaviors.
• Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
