The role involves producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs and intraprocedural scrub duties. The position requires an ARRT-approved Associate's degree, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree from ARRT program and ARRT registration.
• BCLS certification required.
• Preferred: IR or Cath Lab experience; two years hospital radiology exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assists Radiologists and Nurses in invasive procedures.
• Produces diagnostic radiographs/imaging.
• Assesses patient condition to determine technique.
• Administers medication and contrast agents.
• Oversees maintenance and repair of interventional equipment.
• Participates in testing and selecting new equipment and products.
• Performs scheduling, film processing, filing, inventory, cleaning, QA/QC.
• Communicates results to physician and patient.
• Trains students and new staff.
• Prepares exam room and post-procedure cleanup.
• Explains procedures and resolves patient complaints.
