Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in radiology technology with IR/Cath Lab/EP preferred.
• Completion of accredited radiography education and ARRT certification.
• Ability to understand radiologic principles, positioning, and follow instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Current BLS certification; registry in vascular/interventional radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiologic procedures in labs as ordered by physicians, adhering to safety standards.
• Prepares sterile setups, assembles instruments, catheters, guidewires, and contrast materials.
• Assists specialists during procedures involving catheters, balloons, coils, and treatments.
• Develops and executes treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Maintains documentation and ensures cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas.
• Participates in departmental quality improvement activities and achieves goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
