Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopy across multiple service lines, under the supervision of the fluoroscopy operator. The role requires operating with the patient population from infancy to geriatrics and adhering to MetroHealth policies and high patient care standards.

In addition to performing procedures, candidates should hold ARRT registration, Ohio licensure, and BLS/ACLS credentials, with on-call availability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• ARRT registration required.
• ACLS or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopy procedures under supervision.
• Support vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and neuroscience service lines.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile field.
• Adapt to various patient ages from infancy to geriatric.
• Uphold MetroHealth System policies and customer service standards.
