Job summary

MetroHealth System in Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures across multiple service lines. You will support fluoroscopy procedures, care for diverse patient populations, and ensure safety and quality standard adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Possess a valid Radiographer License for the State of Ohio.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT.
• ACLS or obtains within 1 year of hire.
• BLS Certification from the AHA or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis to meet the needs of the department.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the fluoroscopy operator, assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, interventional radiology and neuroscience service lines.
• Care for a patient population ranging from infancy to geriatric.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment during procedures involving fluoroscopy.
• Perform multipurpose roles per department needs and MetroHealth System policies and procedures.
