Overview

We’re seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Pain Management team. The role focuses on advanced, minimally invasive pain relief procedures to help patients manage chronic pain and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Follow established protocols for patient care, safety, and radiological procedures.
• Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Obtain high‑quality radiographs within an efficient timeframe while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Process and accurately digitize radiographic images, ensuring correct patient data is linked.
• Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures, ensuring a clean, sterile, and organized environment.
• Review radiographic exams for technical accuracy and ensure correct anatomical orientation of images.
• Regularly check radiographic equipment for optimal functioning and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety practices and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with additional duties as needed, maintaining flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience preferred.
• Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• Ability to operate C‑arm equipment safely and effectively.
