Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist role is an entry-level position that assists in routine diagnostic and complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions. The technologist must be competent in procedures related to oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology, and nephrology. The role requires following established protocols and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Completion of a two-year program at an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
2. License/Certifications: Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in Maine; Certification in Radiography with ARRT; Current BLS certification (or must obtain within 30 days of start).
3. Experience: Two years of acute care imaging experience or one year of advanced modality imaging experience.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: None specified.
