Overview

This is a full-time IR & Cath Lab Radiology Technologist position located at Saxony Hospital. The hours are 7am-5:30pm, Tuesday through Friday. Call requirements include a 30-minute response time. New graduates are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists/interventionalists in interventional procedures, acting as scrub tech where appropriate, adhering to safety and infection control protocols, following radiation safety protocols, understanding complex procedures, determining supplies, setting up sterile fields, possessing advanced knowledge of vascular anatomy, communicating effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and documenting in EMR.

• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when necessary.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and supplies used during interventional exams.
• Active registration as a Radiologic Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through ARRT.
• May need to obtain advanced credential in interventional radiography.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred.
