This position is full-time, days. The technologist will float between 7 outpatient imaging departments in and around Indianapolis. Monday-Friday. No weekends, no holidays, no call.
Sign-on bonus available for those that qualify!
Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exams and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exams for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
