Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology professional to perform IR imaging procedures, ensure quality standards, and support continuous quality improvement.

The schedule typically consists of four 10-hour shifts during the week, with a focus on patient safety, teamwork, and exceptional patient care within a leading pediatric environment that emphasizes technology, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-VI Certification required within two years of hire and maintained.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of one year radiology, cardiac cath, or IR experience.
• Current IEMA licensure.
• Excellent communication/listening skills; bilingual helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs IR imaging procedures according to department standards.
• Meets age-specific competency standards.
• Produces examinations meeting image quality standards; submits images for interpretation.
• Verifies accuracy of patient demographics and clinical data.
• Performs quality control procedures; ensures consistent image quality.
• Supports organizational changes and team-based care.
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures.
• Collaborates with nurses and physicians for optimal patient flow.
• Maintains service principles focused on innovation, service excellence and teamwork.
