Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures professional to assist with fluoroscopic and interventional vascular procedures. You will prepare, document, and assist with medications and radiation safety in accordance with laws and policy.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and 1 year radiology experience; EPIC EHR and PACS proficiency is preferred. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI certification is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; surgery exposure preferred.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC EHR and PACS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality vascular ultrasound examinations following exam protocols.
• Prepares patients for procedures, explains the procedure and provides instructions.
• Contacts referring physician for clarification prior to exams when needed.
• Uses EMR to review patient information, enter preliminary reporting, and document findings.
• Completes tasks in a timely manner and adheres to safety and infection control policies.
• Demonstrates alignment with Mercy Health mission and values and reports concerns.
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy and correlates lab results with other procedures.
