Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist in Brownsville, TX. The role requires performing diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician supervision and providing support for interventional imaging when needed.

Responsibilities include high-quality radiographs, room preparation, and equipment maintenance. Typical requirements include ARRT (R) certification and BLS; experience with OR/trauma imaging is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 2–5 years of X-ray experience are required; 1–3 years IR experience is preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification is required; AHA BLS; state license if required; VI or CI preferred in MI only.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma.
• Assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
