Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support interventional radiology and fluoroscopy procedures across multiple service lines. You will work under the fluoroscopy operator, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging throughout diagnostic and interventional acts.

The role requires ARRT registration, an Ohio radiographer license, and active BLS/ACLS certifications with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Radiographer License for the State of Ohio.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT.
• ACLS or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification from the AHA or obtain within probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and neuroscience service lines.
• Provide a safe and supportive care environment during fluoroscopy procedures.
• Function in a multipurpose role per department needs and policies, following ODH regulations.
• Interact with a wide range of patient ages from infancy to elderly.
• Uphold MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
