Urology Associates, P.C. - IR Center Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced IR Scrub Technician to assist the lead scrub tech during interventional procedures and to provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

The role involves sterile preparation, imaging work, anesthesia transfer support, and room turnover across interventional radiology cases, with strong focus on radiation safety and PACS data handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience as IR scrub tech preferred.
• Ability to set up sterile fields and prep access sites.
• Familiar with PACS and image transfers.
• Knowledge of OSHA and hazardous waste disposal.

Responsibilities

• Sterile preparation for procedures including femoral, jugular, and radial access.
• Assist during procedures and manage sharps, wires, catheters.
• Operate imaging equipment and transfer data to PACS.
• Maintain sterile fields and document radiation dose.
• Prepare, restock, and maintain procedure rooms and equipment.
• Post-operative patient care in holding area.
