Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cath Lab/Interventional Platform in Illinois. The role involves scrub support, imaging, and radiation safety during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The position requires an IL RT license, a 2-year Radiology degree, and BLS/ACLS within 6 months. 40-hour workweek with on-call duties and shift-based compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• IL RT license required.
• 2-year Associate Degree from Accredited School of Radiology.
• BLS certification and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in Imaging (X-ray, procedures) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures; anticipates provider needs.
• Competent in all roles for Cath/EP or IR.
• Operates imaging equipment; acts as radiation safety resource.
• Ensures safe patient care with sterile technique and proper draping.
• Communicates clearly with team; documents care and plans.
• Mentors team; conducts inservices on skills and QA.
