Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a PRN/per diem basis in Bradenton, FL. You will operate imaging equipment for angiography and cardiac catheterization, scrub and monitor in IR Lab, and ensure patient safety and image quality.

Rotating call coverage is required. The role requires an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, an active Florida CRT license, ARRT credential, and 1–3 years radiology experience with IR exposure.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a 2-year AMA-approved school.
• ARRT credential; RCIS considered with IR experience.
• BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patient status in IR Lab.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment per SOPs.
• Administer contrast media per policy and procedure.
• Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review radiographs for quality.
