Job Summary and Qualifications

• Provides care to assist Interventional Radiologists in special radiology procedures.
• Ensures radiation safety.
• Administers IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting.

Qualifications Needed

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• MRT certification in Texas.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required.
• Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Associate Degree from an AMA-approved radiology technology school.
• Three to five years’ experience in special interventional radiology preferred.
