Job summary

HCA Florida Northside Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to operate imaging equipment and assist in angiography and cardiac catheterization. This full-time IR Tech role requires ARRT certification, active Florida CRT, and IR experience with a focus on patient care.

The candidate will participate in call rotation, ensure high quality imaging, and support radiologists while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced interventional lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate degree from a 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Florida CRT licensure (clear/active).
• Current ARRT credential; RCIS considered with IR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist in angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment per procedures.
• Obtain high quality radiographs and review for quality standards.
• Assist in administration of contrast media and monitor patient status.
