HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a PRN/per diem basis to support IR procedures, angiography, and cardiac catheterization in the IR Lab. You will scrub, circulate, and monitor patients, ensuring safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT, CRT license, BLS/ACLS, and 1–3 years radiology experience; IR exposure is a plus. Rotating call coverage is required, with commitment to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a 2-year AMA-approved school
• Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum IR experience
• Minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one year IR experience
• Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus
• BLS required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate accountability and responsibility and performs procedures and care in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner
• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures
• Accurately perform technical radiographic procedures in accordance with established operating procedures and routines
• Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
• Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met
• Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtains informed consent
• Maintain effective communication with patient providing explanation of procedures within scope of practice as well as with caregiver colleagues to include radiologists
• Responsible for rotating call assignments
