Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking an Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Technologist to assist with procedures in the IR lab, including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patients.

The ideal candidate has ARRT IR certification or RCIS, Florida license, BLS/ACLS, and IR experience; join a team focused on delivering high-quality patient care and improving outcomes in a premier hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a licensed field and one year IR experience.
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Florida license and ARRT IR credential required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient response to Plan of Care and communicate changes to the health care team.
• Record data on patient records to reflect care.
• Set up and record left/right heart pressures and analyze waveform values.
• Participate in rounding and respond to patient needs to improve outcomes.
