Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in interventional radiology. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring accurate positioning, protocol selection, and image acquisition across patient populations.

Collaboration with the radiology team is essential to maintain high-quality patient care. Qualifications include AMA/JRCERT approved education and ARRT/ARDMS or VI/CI certifications, with BLS required.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration upon hire; vascular imaging certifications (VI) or CI), and BLS upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies.
• Post-processing and documentation of procedures and patient care.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain Radiation Safety policies and dose reduction strategies.
• Provide patient education and communication.
• Assist with coordination of interventional procedures and mentor junior staff.
