Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Radiographer to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across age groups. You will help ensure high-quality imaging, adhere to safety standards, and provide patient education.

Required credentials include AMA/JRCERT approved education, 1 year of experience, ARDMS/ARRT registration on hire, VI/CI certifications, and BLS. This role supports a collaborative radiology team within Piedmont’s Atlanta campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of radiology experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required upon hire.
• VI (Vascular Imaging) or CI (Cardiac Interventional) advanced certification upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competence in interventional radiology procedures for patients of all ages.
• Positions patients and selects correct protocol with required equipment.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Delivers age-appropriate patient education and communication.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety policies and dose reduction principles.
• Coordinates interventional procedures daily in proper sequence.
• Mentors students and junior technologists.
• Ensures department meets regulatory requirements.
• Post-processes advanced imaging using applications such as Syngo Via.
• Positions and protocols correctly for radiologic exams as requested.
