Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in interventional radiology. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, post-processing images, and ensuring patient safety across age groups.

The candidate will adhere to established imaging protocols, provide patient education, and support departmental regulatory compliance. A strong emphasis on mentoring students and maintaining radiation safety is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training Required.
• 1 year of experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies.
• Post-process imaging and ensure adherence to imaging protocols across age groups.
• Provide patient education and maintain quality age-specific care.
• Mentor students and junior technologists.
• Comply with radiation safety policies and dose reduction programs.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met in the department.
