Job summary

MetroHealth invites qualified radiologic technologists to join the Interventional Radiology Department. You will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, and neuroscience lines, ensuring patient safety and comfort during fluoroscopy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Possess a valid Radiographer License for the State of Ohio.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT.
• ACLS or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• BLS Certification from the AHA or obtain within probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and neuroscience lines.
• Provide safe, supportive care environment for patients undergoing fluoroscopy.
• Adapt to multipurpose roles per patient and operator needs in line with policies and regulations.
