Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia UVA Community Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech to produce optimal images and assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, delivering patient-centered care across our community health settings. Requirements include ARRT certification, active Radiology registration, and at least 1 year of interventional radiology experience.

A High School diploma or GED is required; IV credentialing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT radiology registration and an accredited program graduate.
• 1 year of interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Advanced understanding of interventional procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce optimal images and assist physicians during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare equipment for procedures.
