Responsibilities

• Produce optimal images and assist physicians during diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Explain procedures and post-procedure orders to patients to gain cooperation.
• Maintain sterile equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Follow OSHA regulations and universal precautions.
• Adjust cameras and perform quality control procedures on the equipment.
• Perform routine equipment checks and ensure proper density/contrast.
