Job summary

UVA Community Health in Virginia is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and to assist physicians in delivering quality imaging for patient care.

Eligible candidates will have ARRT certification, completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist program, and at least 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience; a sign-on bonus is available. On-site with 4x10 hour shifts and rotating days off.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist Program or Radiologic Technologist Program with ARRT registration.
• Experience: 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
• Licensure: ARRT certification and state licensure as required; IV credentials preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: ability to complete competency testing and protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Produce optimal images and assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during radiology procedures.
• Maintain sterility of equipment and perform quality control.
