Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional radiology procedures. You will educate patients and families, operate imaging equipment safely, and document examinations.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Must be ARRT or RCIS registered and have BLS certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional radiology procedures as assigned.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and accurately; document examinations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is clean and operational; manage inventory for examinations.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
